The Halloween Candy Buy Back program was started with the goal of getting some of the candy “off the streets.” (www.halloweencandybuyback.com). The program usually pays $1 for every pound of candy brought in followed by sending the goodies to the troops overseas. This year Infinity Dental Associates is proudly supporting this endeavor by collecting the candy and sending it along with notes of gratitude to our troops overseas as part of “Operation Gratitude”.
However, Infinity Dental Associates has decided to shake things up a bit! Instead of paying the trick-or-treaters for the candy, $1 per pound of candy brought in will be donated to the Sandy B. Muller Breast Cancer Foundation, which is a local grassroots non-profit foundation that gives back to our community very close to our hearts. Dr. Gina Marcus is on the Board of Directors for the foundation and is part of the support system which is critical to the foundation’s existence. The Sandy B. Muller Breast Cancer Foundation provides “Peace of Mind” to breast cancer patients while they are actively in treatment and are too sick to work.
